February 2 (SeeNews) - Serbia's central government debt has decreased to 23.21 billion euro ($28.98 billion) at the end of 2017 from 24.82 billion euro a year earlier, according to finance ministry data.
The debt was equivalent to 61.5% of the projected 2017 gross domestic product (GDP), down from 71.9% at the end of 2016, the finance ministry said in a public debt report published on its website.

Serbia's finance minister Dusan Vujovic said in December the government aims to reduce the public debt to below 56.3% of GDP by 2020.
