July 16 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Serbia in May rose by an annual 6.6% to 1,721, the country's statistical office said on Monday.
The estimated value of the planned projects covered by the issued permits soared 44.5% on the year in May, according to data posted on the website of the statistical office.
A total of 1,363 construction permits were issued in April, up 3.4% on the year.
