May 16 (SeeNews) - The average producer price of agricultural goods in Serbia rose 24.3% on the year in March, the country's statistical office said.
The prices of crop production were 30.1% higher in March compared to the same month of 2021, primarily driven by an increase in the prices of cereals, by 35.6%, and farm animals, by 26.5%, the statistical office said in a statement on Thursday.

Producer prices of animal products increased by 20.3% year-on-year in the period under review.
On a monthly basis, the producer prices of agricultural products went up by 8%.
In the January-March period, producer prices in the agriculture sector moved up by 18.8%, compared to the corresponding period a year earlier.
