November 16 (SeeNews) - Serbian stocks lost further ground on Monday in halved turnover, bourse data showed.
The Belgrade bourse's blue-chip BELEX15 index lost 1.31% to 738.92 points after sliding 1.9% on Friday.
The broader BELEXline index fell 1.23% to 1,419.64 points on Monday after going down 1.61% a session earlier.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna fell 1.44% to 329.46 on the first working day of the week.
The bourse's total turnover more than halved to 39 million dinars ($620,300/414,700 euro) from 85 million dinars on Friday.
Blue chip AIK Banka lost 1.42% to end at 2,716 dinars but posted the day’s highest turnover of 29.2 million dinars. Blue chip Univerzal Banka followed, falling 0.94% to end at 7,201 dinars in the second day's highest turnover of 3.0 million dinars.
Transport company Lasta led the gainers, climbing 3.90% to 800 dinars on a volume of just eight stocks. Mechanical engineering company Progres posted the biggest slide. Its shares tumbled 8.33% to 110 dinars.
Fallers outnumbered climbers 31 to 9, while the shares of 17 companies remained flat on Monday.
