BELGRADE (Serbia), December 24 (SeeNews) – Serbian shares dropped further in lower turnover on Thursday, Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) data showed.
The bourse's blue-chip BELEX15 index lost 0.69% to 630.71 points on Thursday after shedding 0.89% in the previous trading session.
The broader BELEXline backed off 0.32% to 1,240.61 points after retreating 0.79% on Wednesday.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna sank 0.85% to 277.25.
Twenty-seven issues lost ground, 14 climbed while the share prices of 18 companies remained flat on Thursday.
Total turnover on the BELEX fell to 74.4 million dinars ($1.1 million/774,382 euro) from 170 million dinars a day earlier.
Blue chip AIK Banka picked up 0.82%, closing at 2,459 dinars in the day's highest turnover of 8.1 million dinars. Its blue chip peer, Agrobanka, lost 4.01% to 7,740 dinars in the second highest turnover of 6.8 million dinars.
Lender Jubmes Banka led the gains, soaring 10.66% to 17,817 dinars.
Insurer Globos, which led the decliners, tumbled 12% to end at 770 dinars.
