BELGRADE (Serbia), December 22 (SeeNews) – Serbian shares extended their slide in a slightly lower turnover on Tuesday, Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) data showed.
The bourse's blue-chip BELEX15 index slid 0.75% to 640.81 points on Tuesday after inching up 0.78% in the previous trading session.
The broader BELEXline shed 0.75% to 1,254.44 points after advancing 0.54% on Monday.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna fell 1.05% to 281.70.
Twenty-five issues lost ground, 15 gained while the share prices of 22 companies remained flat on Tuesday.
Total turnover on the BELEX inched down to 65.9 million dinars ($972,675/683,298 euro) from 69.8 million dinars on Monday.
Construction company Putevi, which paced the gainers, surged 11.11% to 1,000 dinars. Furniture maker Simpo was the biggest loser on Tuesday, tumbling 7.32% to end at 620 dinars.
In single-price trading furniture factory Sipad Srbobran climbed 11.11% to 3,000 dinars in the highest turnover for the day of 9.9 million dinars. Blue chip Agrobanka shed 0.64% to 8,109 dinars in the second highest turnover of 7.5 million dinars.
Blue chip AIK Banka, gained 1.26% to 2,482 dinars in the third highest turnover of 7.1 million dinars.
