BELGRADE (Serbia), December 21 (SeeNews) – Serbian shares inched up in lower volumes on Monday, Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) data showed.
The bourse's blue-chip index BELEX15 edged up 0.78% to 645.66 points after inching down 0.25% in the previous trading session.
The broader BELEXline advanced 0.54% to 1,263.93 points after adding 0.06% on Friday. The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna gained 1.20% to 285.11.
Twenty-four companies lost ground, another 24 gained and the share prices of 16 companies remained flat on Monday.
Total turnover on the BELEX fell to 69.8 million dinars ($1.0 million/725,600 million euro) from 123 million dinars on Friday.
Construction company Putevi, which paced the losers in regular trading, tumbled 10% to 900 dinars in the highest turnover of 25.8 million dinars.
In single-price trading furniture factory Sipad Srbobran tumbled 10% to 2,700 dinars in the second highest turnover of 6.5 million dinars.
In regular trading blue-chip soybean producer Sojaprotein shed 0.20% to 1,009 dinars in the third highest turnover of 5.1 million dinars.
Furniture maker Simpo was the top gainer on Monday, surging 11.5% to 669 dinars.
