BELGRADE (Serbia), December 11 (SeeNews) – Serbian share indices edged up in rising turnover on Friday after more than a week of decline, Belgrade stock exchange data showed.
The bourse's blue-chip BELEX15 index added 0.97% to 672.07 points after ticking down 0.02% on Thursday.
The broader BELEXline gained 0.43% to 1,296.47 points on Friday after sliding 0.2% in the previous trading session.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna rose 0.52% to 296.43 .
Total turnover on the BELEX rose to 48.2 million dinars ($733,816/502,442 euro) from 21.1 million dinars on Thursday.
Blue chip AIK Banka's preferred shares notched up the session's highest turnover of 14.9 million dinars, sinking 11.74% to 1,015 dinars. AIK Banka’s regular shares climbed 1.33% to 2,592 dinars in the second highest turnover of 6.7 million dinars.
Blue chip lender Agrobanka followed with the third largest turnover of 6.2 million dinars. Its stock rose 3.12% to 8,558 dinars.
Another blue-chip bank, Komercijalna, led the gainers. Its share closed 11.38% higher at 13,499 dinars in a volume of just one share.
Credy Banka paced the decliners, tumbling 11.74% to 3,055 dinars.
Fallers outnumbered gainers 18 to 17, while the share prices of 22 companies remained unchanged on Friday.
