October 8 (SeeNews) - Serbian share indices edged down in lower volumes on Thursday, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange fell 0.91% to 828.75 points after rising 1.3% a day earlier. The broader BELEXline index edged down 0.7% to 1,555.48 points after a 1.11% gain on Wednesday.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna lost 0.25% to end at 375.95 on Thursday.
The Belgrade bourse's total turnover decreased to 41.6 million dinars ($659,794/446,894 euro) from 110.5 million dinars on Wednesday. Trade in government bonds fell to 7.4 million dinars from 18.8 million dinars a day earlier.
Blue-chip AIK Banka shed 0.91% to 3,049 dinars in the session’s highest turnover of 9.4 million dinars.
Blue-chip Komercijalna Banka shed 2.59% to 36,251 dinars in the session’s second highest turnover of 4.8 million dinars.
Mechanical engineering company Progres posted the biggest gains on Thursday. Its shares soared 12% to 4,313 dinars.
Commercial bank Jubmes Banka AD Beograd posted the biggest drop, falling 7.07% to 21,373 dinars.
Decliners outnumbered gainers by 26 to 14, while the shares of 15 companies ended flat on Thursday.
