BELGRADE (Serbia), April 28 (SeeNews) – Serbia's infrastructure ministry said it has signed an agreement with Ukraine's Civil Aviation Administration for the launch of regular direct flights between the two countries.
The previous agreement, signed in 1996, never came into force, as the Ukrainian side has not ratified it, the ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
The two sides also signed a framework agreement on the rights which the air carriers of both countries will have until the air transport agreement takes effect.
The agreements were signed in the presence of representatives of flag carrier Air Serbia and Ukraine's embassy in Belgrade.
