March 2 (SeeNews) - Serbia will hold regular presidential elections on April 3, together with the vote for members of parliament and the local elections, the government said on Wednesday.
Parliament speaker Ivica Dacic has signed a decision on calling the presidential elections, the cabinet said in a statement.
On February 15, Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic signed a decree to hold early general elections on April, while Dacic signed a decree to hold local elections on the same day.
Vucic's current term of office will expire on May 31. The ruling Serbian Progressive Party, SNS hasn't come forward with a presidential candidate yet.
