- A company owned by Russian tycoon Oleg Deripaska is buying Serbian press firm Futura Plus, which comprises 1,150 retail centres and controls 22% of press distribution in the Balkan country, the newspaper reported, quoting unnamed sources. The Russian buyer will soon complete the recapitalisation of the Serbian company and settle its debt.
-Serbia’s Labour Minister Rasim Ljajic says he will quit as the coordinator of the team formed to arrest Bosnian Serb war crimes indictee Ratko Mladic if the fugitive general is not arrested by December 31.
