- Serbia’s Minister for National Investment Plan (NIP) Verica Kalanovic said she expects the government in Belgrade to beef up the budget of her ministry as NIP is becoming an increasingly important partner in projects funded with the aid of global lenders. NIP’s 2009 budget was cut by 25% to 592 million dinars, Kalanovic said.
