- Serbia exported 1.2 billion euro in goods and services to members of the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) during the first eight months of this year, Economy Minister Mladjan Dinkic said. The Balkan country imported about 500 million euro in goods from CEFTA members over the review period, Dinkic also said.

- FAS, a joint venture of Serbian auto maker Zastava and Italy’s Fiat, will decide in three days if the new model to be produced in the Balkan country will be a compact or a family car, Nebojsa Zdravkovic, the Serbia-Fiat project coordinator, said. FAS plans to produce at least 200,000 units of the new model annually and will hire 14,000 people in Serbia. The car will be sold worldwide.
