- Serbia will sign a 120 million euro loan agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Finance Corporation on December 17 to raise the capital of Komercijalna Banka, Economy Minister Mladjan Dinkic said.
- The government will invest about 1.0 billion euro in the construction of a new thermal power plants in Kostolac, in eastern Serbia, with a capacity of 350 to 600 megawatts, Energy Minister Petar Skundric said. China has offered to lend Serbia 700 million euro to invest in thermal power complex Termoelektrane Kostolac, b92 quoted the CEO of Serbia’s power monopoly EPS, Dragomir Markovic, as saying on Thursday.
