- The debt of Serbia’s companies and citizens to local banks has reached 40 billion dinars after the euro has strengthened against local currency by 2.0% over the last three weeks, the paper said quoting various sources and its own calculations.

- Italian low-cost airline Wind Jet will launch regular flights from Serbia’s southern town of Nis to Italy's Forli, close to Bologna, on December 26, Konstantin Veliki airport in Nis said.
- Serbia’s 2010 budget bill backed by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has landed in parliament for approval. The IMF and the government in Belgrade have agreed on a budget deficit equivalent to 4.0% of the projected gross domestic product, down from deficit of 4.5% this year.
