January 16 (SeeNews) - SEE Link, a platform for trading of securities listed on equity markets in Southeastern Europe (SEE), said on Monday it included two Serbian and four Slovenian companies in its SEE LinX and SEE LinX EWI indices.
The newly included companies are Serbian civil engineering firm Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] and oil group NIS [BEL:NIIS] as well as Slovenian home appliances maker Gorenje [LJE:GRVG], drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG], fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] and insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG], SEE Link said in a press release.
The inclusion of the six companies takes the number of SEE Link indices constituents to 16.
The calculation of the respective indices with new composition started on Monday, SEE Link said.
SEELinX index is a market capitalization-weighted index adjusted for the free-float of each constituent, while SEELinX EWI is an equally weighted index with the same constituents.
SEE Link is a project started by the Bulgarian, Croatian and Macedonian stock exchanges with the aim of creating regional infrastructure for the trading of securities. Ljubljana and Belgrade stock exchanges joined SEE Link in December.
Athens, Banja Luka and Montenegro stock exchanges are currently preparing to join the platform, with several other stock exchanges in the region expressing their interest.
