July 20 (SeeNews) - Saudi Arabian company Imar Urban Consultants and Australia's Care Park PTY Ltd expressed interest in taking part in a project for the overhaul of Asim Ferhatovic Hase stadium in Bosnia's Sarajevo, the city government said.
The companies submitted all the necessary documentation with a strong interest in investing their funds into the modernisation of the stadium under a public-private partnership, the city government said in a statement on Thursday.
On January 5, 2018, the Sarajevo municipality invited potential private investors to express their interest in the implementation of the project, which would provide Sarajevo with a modern sports arena complying with the world and European standards.
The public call was open for 120 days.
The municipality has recently installed a new lighting system at the stadium and built a control room with video surveillance of the entire facility.
