BELGRADE (Serbia), May 28 (SeeNews) – Russian technology company Yandex has signed an agreement with Serbian company 516 d.o.o. to start offering its advertising and marketing products on the Serbian market, Yandex said on Tuesday.
Under the agreement, 516 d.o.o. will become an official representative of Yandex on the Serbian market, the Russian company said in an e-mailed statement.
"Together with 516 d.o.o., we want to help the local business work more effectively with the Russian audience, attract new customers and maximize the effect of investing in advertising," the director of Yandex Europe, Bernard Lukey, was quoted as saying in the statement.
The Yandex search and advertising networks will become available to Serbian businesses, which will also be able to use the company's analytical and marketing tools, such as Yandex.Metrica, AppMetrica, Brand Lift.
"New opportunities for attracting tourists, establishing contacts in the food and light industry, or the production of pharmaceutical products are only a small list of advantages offered by the cooperation with the Russian Internet giant," the regional director of 516 d.o.o., Olga Nedeljkovic, said.
The Yandex search and advertising networks cover about 80% of Internet users in Russia, the technology company noted.
