May 3 (SeeNews) - Romanian state-controlled natural gas producer Romgaz [BSE: SNG] led the decliners among the blue chips on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
The total equity turnover of the BVB fell to 16.7 million lei ($4.02 million/ 3.6 million euro) from 32.1 million lei on Tuesday.
Romgaz was the top blue-chip decliner, losing 1.90% to 31 lei in the day's third largest turnover of 2.04 million lei.
Romanian majority state-owned oil pipeline operator Conpet [BSE:COTE] climbed 1.57% to 129 lei in the day's largest turnover of 4.27 million lei.
Blue-chip lender BRD Societe Generale [BSE:BRD] fell 0.16% to 12.18 lei in the second largest turnover of 2.92 million lei.
