August 8 (SeeNews) - Austrian green electricity provider Enery signed a multi-year virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) with Romania's Ursus Breweries, law firm Schoenherr which advised Enery on the deal, said on Tuesday.
Under the agreement, Ursus Breweries will receive electricity from a new solar park to be built in Romania with a capacity of more than 50 MWp, Schoenherr said in a press release.
Enery is an Austrian provider of green electricity, currently owning a portfolio of over 200 GWh of clean electricity.
Bucharest-headquartered Ursus Breweries has been controlled by Asahi Breweries Europe since 20217. The company owns breweries in Timisoara, Buzau, Brasov and a mini-production facility in Cluj-Napoca, according to its website.
Schoenherr provided legal advice to Enery on all aspects of the VPPA, including its structure, drafting, negotiation, and signing.
