February 13 (SeeNews) - Romanian plastic products manufacturer TeraPlast [BSE:TRP] has signed a market making agreement with local intermediary BRK Financial Group [BSE:BRK], the Bucharest Stock Exchange announced.
"We want a significant increase in liquidity on the stock market, and the framework set by the Issuer's Market Maker program proves that opportunities are accessed especially when companies have the necessary environment for development," Adrian Tanase, CEO of the Bucharest bourse, said in a statement earlier this week.
BRK Financial Group commits to displaying a minimum volume of 750,000 shares for the buy and sell-side, within a spread of 1%.
"Our collaboration with BRK Financial Group is a new step in line with our goal of creating value for shareholders by improving liquidity and minimizing volatility," Alexandru Stanean, general manager at TeraPlast, said.
As at 15:30 CET on Thursday, TeraPlast shares traded 0.96% higher at 0.316 lei ($0.071/0.066 euro), while BRK Financial Group shares were up 0.87% at 0.0928 lei.
