March 6 (SeeNews) - Romanian home supply store Neakaisa said on Wednesday that its revenue rose 10% year-on-year to 6.2 million euro ($6.74 million) in 2023.
The company sold more than 60,000 products in 2023, up by 10,000 from the year before, Neakaisa said in a press release.
Looking ahead, Neakaisa aims for 10% growth this year and plans to invest in digitalisation and automation of internal processes.
Neakaisa's most significant growth driver in 2023 was the opening of a showroom in Bucharest in May, which contributed to a 10% increase in total sales within just over six months since its launch.
The top cities generating sales last year for Neakaisa were Bucharest, Cluj, Timisoara, and Constanta, with the largest online order amounting to 58,000 lei. Also, the average basket value last year increased slightly to 1,880 lei, driven by orders originating from the Bucharest showroom.
Launched in 2014, Neakaisa is a one-stop online store for home improvement with a portfolio of more than 25,000 products.
