November 26 (SeeNews) - Romania's M3, the broadest gauge of the country's money supply, grew by a nominal 9.4% year-on-year to 368 billion lei ($90 billion/79 billion euro) in October, compared to a 10.3% increase in September, the central bank, BNR, said on Monday.
On a monthly comparison basis, Romania's M3 money supply rose by 0.5% in October, BNR said in a statement.
In real terms, October M3 was 5% higher on the year and was flat on the month.
Romania's M1 rose 10.2% on the year to 222.6 billion lei last month, compared to 11.4% in September.
Net foreign assets rose by 4.1% in October, reaching 167 billion lei, while net domestic assets jumped by 14.3% to 200.7 billion lei.
