May 25 (SeeNews) - Romania's M3, the broadest gauge of the country's money supply, grew by a nominal 11.1% year-on-year to 354.7 billion lei ($90 billion/77 billion euro) in April, compared to a 11.6% increase in March, the central bank, BNR, said on Friday.
On a monthly comparison basis, Romania's M3 money supply rose 1.1% in April, BNR said in a statement.
In real terms, April M3 was 5.6% higher on the year and up by 0.5% on the month.
Romania's M1 rose 13.5% on the year to 211.3 billion lei last month, compared to 15% in March.
Net foreign assets increased by an annual 0.4% in April, reaching 153 billion lei, while net domestic assets jumped by 21.1% to 200.7 billion lei.
