August 2 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial producer prices grew by 2.5% on the year in June on the back of a strong rise in prices in manufacturing and mining, the statistical office, INS, said on Wednesday.
In May, industrial producer prices increased by 3.3% year-on-year.
On a monthly comparison basis, industrial producer prices edged down by 0.1% in June, the same as in the previous month, INS said, citing provisional figures.
On the domestic market, industrial output prices increased by 1.9% in June year-on-year, while prices on the external market rose by 3.6%.
