March 20 (SeeNews) - Fortech Investments, a division of Romanian software development group Fortech, said that it invested 2 million euro ($2.1 million) in the expansion of its startup network in 2022.
For the current year, the company aims to expand its portfolio to the rest of Europe and the U.S., while also having three investments currently in progress, it said in a press release last week.
"For 2023, the company already has three investments in progress, wanting to balance the portfolio with pre-seed rounds (80,000 - 150,000) and further invest in larger late-seed rounds (300,000-400,000)," it said.
Fortech Investments is a Romanian private investment fund focused on healthcare, manufacturing, energy, automotive, fintech, and proptech.
At the end of 2022, Fortech was acquired by U.S.-based digital services company Global Logic, transforming from a corporate venture capital (CVC) to an independent fund.
