October 30 (SeeNews) - Romanian majority state-owned electrical equipment manufacturer Electroputere on Tuesday reported a net loss of 30.71 million lei ($13.22 million/9.18 million euro) for the nine months through September, up from 30.45 million lei net loss a year earlier.
The company's shares lost 0.83% on Tuesday to close at 1.2 lei on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB). The results were released after the end of the trading session.

Electroputere has four divisions that manufacture locomotives, electric engines, power transformers and other electrical equipment.
In June, Romania's privatisation agency AVAS chose the Al Arrab Contracting Company of Saudi Arabia as preferred buyer of its 62.82% stake in Electroputere in its sixth attempt to sell the company.
