May 26 (SeeNews) - Romania’s competition council said on Thursday it approved the takeover of Dentstore and its sister company Rebox Concept by Dental Ventures Capital.
"Following a review of the transaction, the Competition Council found that it does not raise significant obstacles to effective competition in the market, in particular by establishing or strengthening of a dominant position," the anti-trust body said in a statement.

Dental Ventures Capital is a holding company which is part of the Abris group. The Romanian branch of Abris announced in April it had acquired a majority stake in Poland’s Orbitvu, an automated product photography enterprise. Abris group is present on the Romanian market in the distribution of consumables, stomatology equipment and recycling.
Dentstore is a dental equipment commerce company, along with general medical gear, while Rebox Concept is a logistics company active in the same field.
