February 2 (SeeNews) - Romanian railway operator CFR said that it selected the 19.4 million lei ($4.3 million/4 million euro) offer of a local consortium as winner in a tender for repair works on the Bobolia bridge, on the Bucharest-Ploiesti Vest-Campina railway.
The consortium is made up of Romanian companies Infra System Protect and Degal Construct 88, CFR said in a social media post on Wednesday. The works will be financed through the state budget.
Infra System Protect was founded in 2009 and is specialised in the construction of roads and motorways. In 2021, it booked a net profit of 103,636 lei on a turnover of 5.6 million lei, latest data from the finance ministry shows.
Degal Construct 88 is an engineering and technical consultant established in 1999. The company netted a profit of 302,790 lei on a turnover of 765,778 lei in 2021.
