January 21 (SeeNews) - Romania's Banca Transilvania (BT) [BSE:TLV] said that it has increased its capital by issuing 172,665 new shares as a result of the conversion of 137,870 of the lender's bonds, as requested by their holders.
Banca Transilvania increased its capital by 172,665 lei ($39,653/36,332 euro) to some 5.216 billion lei as a result of the bond conversion, the lender said in a bourse filing on Monday.
The price for the bond-to-share conversion is 2.2648 lei per share.
The capital increase has not been registered by the central depository.
As at 8:20 CET on Tuesday, Banca Transilvania shares traded 0.19% lower at 2.625 lei on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
