January 18 (SeeNews) - The Romanian city of Bacau is calling tenders for the procurement of radio modules and cold water meters, pre-equipped and equipped for remote transmission, to be financed with part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the lender said on Friday.
Water utility Compania Regionala de Apa seeks to buy water meters and various water debit and flow meters, the EBRD said.
Tenders must be delivered on or before March 5, 2019.
In order to be qualified for the award of a contract, tenderers must have a yearly average turnover of 3 million lei ($728,000/639,000 euro) within the last 3 years.
The local authorities intend to use savings from the proceeds of a loan extended by the EBRD in 2013 to support the municipal and environmental infrastructure programme in Bacau.
