July 13 (SeeNews) - The faculty of law at Romania's Babes-Bolyai University has bought the Opera Plaza hotel in Cluj-Napoca for 40 million lei ($9.6 million/8.1 million euro), property broker RE/MAX Romania said on Tuesday.
The hotel building will be transformed to house the headquarters of the law faculty, RE/MAX said in a press release.

The deal is the biggest ever brokered by RE/MAX and the biggest year-to-date in Cluj-Napoca.
RE/MAX Romania said it brokered 5,000 real estate transactions worth a total of 200 million euro ($237 million) in 2020.
RE/MAX, founded in 1973 in the United States, is present in 100 countries worldwide with over 8,300 offices and 128,000 agents.
