March 3 (SeeNews) - Romania's AROBS Transilvania Software, the parent company of the AROBS Group, said that the group’s consolidated net profit increased to 46.3 million lei ($10 million/9.4 million euro) in 2022, from 45.7 million lei in the previous year.
The group’s net turnover rose by an annual 58% to 300.9 million lei in 2022, with software services and software products slicing shares of 80% and 20%, respectively, in the total turnover, AROBS said in a preliminary annual financial statement filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB, earlier this week.
“The significant increase in turnover at the level of 2022 is due to the contracting of new clients both in the software services and the software products areas, as well as the integration of the newly acquired companies into our group,” Voicu Oprean, AROBS CEO, said.
The group’s operating revenue rose by 59% to 307.4 million lei last year, while operating expenses grew by 75.4% to 254 million lei.
Total assets amounted to 357.25 million lei at the end of 2022, increasing by 70% on the year, while total liabilities quintupled to 117.96 million lei.
AROBS Transilvania Software, the parent company, posted a net profit of 44.3 million lei in 2022, or 96% of the group’s consolidated net result, up by 2% year-on-year. The parent’s turnover rose by 35% last year to 228.5 million lei, representing 76% of the group’s total.
The group includes the parent and eighteen subsidiaries. AROBS Transilvania Software is an IT company established in 1998 and headquartered in Cluj-Napoca. The company is focused on developing custom software for a range of industries.
In December, AROBS Transilvania Software approved the takeover of Moldovan companies AROBS Software and TrackGPS. In February 2023 the company acquired 94% shareholding interest in SYDERAL Polska, a Polish electronics and software specialist in the aerospace sector.
AROBS Transilvania Software shares traded 0.2% lower at 1 leu as at 0902 CET on March 3, bourse data showed.
