January 28 (SeeNews) - Romania's competition authority said that it will look into the agreed takeover of some operations of Colina Motors outlets by Roadhill Automotive.
In order to determine whether the concentration is compatible with the normal competitive environment, the Competition Council will consider the notified transaction under the merger regulation, the anti-trust body said in a statement on Thursday.

Under the deal, Roadhill will take over the retail sale of cars and light commercial vehicles and service line for cars and vans currently operated by Colina.
Colina Motors is an authorized dealer in Romania for the Ford and Hyundai brands and owns a service unit in the Bucharest-Ilfov area.
Roadhill Automotive retails Ford cars and light vans under 3.5 tonnes and owns a multi-brand service line for cars and light vans in the Bucharest-Ilfov area.
The company is part of local Semha Group, which owns several companies in Romania: Aviroms Rent-a-car, Metropolitan Leasing, Metro Real Estate Development , Total Asset Management , BR Assets Development, Massiv Forest Products and A.J. Realty International Development.
