December 28 (SeeNews) - The deposits of the non-governmental sector in Romanian banks grew 10.9% on the year to 324.5 billion lei ($79.6 billion/69.8 billion euro) in November, compared to an annual increase of 9.2% in October, the central bank, BNR, said on Friday.
Leu deposits increased 9.8% year-on-year to 215 billion lei in November, after growing by 6.9% in the previous month, BNR said in a monthly monetary statistics report.
Foreign currency deposits increased by 13.1% on the year to 108.5 billion lei in November, after growing by 14.1% in October.
