September 15 (SeeNews) - Romanian affiliate marketing company 2Performant [BSE:2P] said on Thursday that its net loss shrank by 34% year-on-year in the first six months of 2023, to 577,143 lei ($123,790/116,130 euro).
During January-June, the company achieved revenue of 21 million lei, higher by 32% on the year, 2Performant said in a filing to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
The company's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) reached 186,000 lei during the first six months of the year, reversing a prior-year loss of 463,082 lei. Operating expenses rose 29% year-on-year to 24.2 million lei during January-June.
2Performant, established in 2010, connects online marketing specialists with online stores and brands based on a cost per sale model. The company has been listed on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange since December 2020.
Its shares traded 5.58% lower at 2.37 lei as of 1324 CET on Friday on the Bucharest bourse.
