BUCHAREST (Romania), December 8 (SeeNews) – Bucharest stock indices ended mixed on Tuesday in an attempt to at least slightly recover from the sharp drops in the previous day, brokers said.
The bourse stock indices tumbled on Monday, a day after a run-off vote for Romanian president failed to break a months-old political impasse that has put key reforms in jeopardy and made investors wary.
"The uncertainty in the political spectrum remains but it seems that investors kind of ignored this, especially in the context of some scenarios for the formation of a new government already coming up," Prime Transaction brokerage said in a daily stock market report published on its website.
The trading mood was one of cautiousness and anticipation, the brokerage added.
