September 18 (SeeNews) - Romanian blue-chip brokerage house SSIF Broker said on Tuesday it has bought a majority stake in local meat company Facos Suceava for 4.3 million euro ($5.96 million).
SSIF Broker has bought 1,337,881 shares, representing a 83.02% stake in Facos Suceava, the brokerage house said in a statement.

The Romanian meat processing market is dominated by local companies CrisTim, Aldis, Tabco Campofrio, Angst Ro, Scandia, Caroli and Kosarom. It is estimated at more than one billion euro a year.
