BUCHAREST (Romania), October 12 (SeeNews) – Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc named Aurelian Popa president of the country's privatisation agency AVAS replacing interim Mircea Ioan Pavelescu, AVAS said on Monday.
Pavelescu will continue to act as vice-president of the agency, AVAS said in a statement.
Pavelescu, one of AVAS's vice-presidents, was named interim president at the beginning of October to replace Mircea Ursache.
