September 25 (SeeNews) - Romanian oil and gas prospecting company Dafora will replace local real estate company Impact Developer & Contractor in the blue-chip BET index of the Bucharest bourse as of October 1, the bourse said.
Also on October 1, Romanian aluminium smelter Alro, a subsidiary of Dutch-based Vimetco, will replace port operator Socep in the BET-XT index, which tracks the 25 most liquid companies traded on the main market, including Romania's five regional investment funds, the SIFs, the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB, said in a statement late on Thursday.
The statement also said that Romanian concrete producer COMCM and bakery group Boromir will be included in the composite BET-C index also as of next Thursday. The BVB gave no details about the reasons behind the changes.
Besides the BET, BET-C and BET-XT, the BVB has three more indices.
The BET-NG index includes companies from the energy sector and utilities, listed on the main market. The BET-FI index tracks Romania's five regional investment funds SIFs. The ROTX index, a joint index of the BVB and the Vienna Stock Exchange, includes the bourse's 15 most liquid stocks.
