March 28 (SeeNews) - Romania sold on Monday 556 million lei ($121.5 million/112.3 million euro) of government securities maturing on July 26, 2027, central bank data showed.
The average accepted yield was 7.15%, compared to 8.1% achieved at the previous auction of government securities of the same issue held in September last year.
Demand for the debt paper, which carries an annual coupon of 5.8%, amounted to 1.13 billion lei at Monday's auction, compared to 1.29 billion lei at the previous auction.
The issue was reopened on March 28, when the finance ministry raised an additional 45 million lei in a non-competitive tender.
