December 22 (SeeNews) - Sales of new passenger cars in Romania fell by 18.3% to 99,572 in the first eleven months of 2010, the Romanian Car Producers and Importers Association, APIA, said on Wednesday.
Sales of commercial vehicles through November fell by 27.5% year-on-year to 10,986.

NOTE: Dacia is majority-owned by France's Renault but its sales are recorded separately from those of the parent company, which reports only the sales of Renault cars imported into Romania.
The sales of new passenger cars in Romania fell by 51.9% to 130,193 in 2009 when Dacia had the largest market share of 30%.
