BUCHAREST (Romania), November 16 (SeeNews) – Romania on Monday offered for sale minority stakes in three companies for a combined starting price of 4.03 million lei ($1.4 million/938,000 euro), the government's asset-selling agency, AVAS, said.
AVAS offered for sale a 9.572% stake in poultry producer Avicola Iasi and set starting price for it at 2.82 million lei or 2.5 lei per share, it said in a statement. The agency will hold auction for the stake at 1100 GMT on December 9.

A state-owned stake of 0.0459% in stone processing company Marmosim was offered at a starting price of 39,130 lei, or 1.1737 lei per share. The auction for the sale of the stake will be held on December 10 at 1200 GMT, AVAS said.
It also said it offered for sale 0.68% of chemical producer Uzine Sodice Govora-Ciech Chemical Group for a starting price of 1.17 million lei, or 1.18 lei per share. AVAS said it will hold the auction on November 25 at 1100 GMT.
