ZAGREB (Croatia), August 8 (SeeNews) – Austria's Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) said on Thursday its after-tax profit from operations in Croatia decreased to 27.1 million euro ($30.3 million) in the first half of 2019, from 36.7 million euro in the like period last year.
RBI generated an operating income of 96.2 million euro in Croatia in the first half of 2019, down 7.6% on the year, figures from RBI's first-half financial report showed.
Net fee and commission income edged up 1% to 33.3 million euro, while net interest income shrank 2% to 60 million euro, RBI said.
The lender's non-performing loan (NPL) ratio in Croatia stood at 4% at the end of June. The coverage of NPLs with provisions was 71.3%.
RBI's total assets in Croatia rose by 5.5% year-on-year to 4.8 billion euro at the end of June.

RBI's Croatian unit had 507,183 customers at end-June, down 13.5% year-on-year, and operated in 78 business outlets, down one on the year.
