September 27 (SeeNews) - Polish clothing and household goods retailer Pepco, part of Pan-European discount variety retailer Pepco Group, said on Wednesday that it will open on September 28 a new store in the southern Bulgarian city of Haskovo.
The Haskovo store will bring the retailer's network in Bulgaria to 150 locations, Pepco said in a press release.
"With the opening of store number 150, Pepco affirms its commitment to Bulgaria, demonstrating its belief in the potential of the Bulgarian market and the brand's dedication to serving locals," Pepco Bulgaria expansion manager Kaloyan Donchev said.
Earlier this month, Pepco opened its first store in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in Sarajevo, with plans to open locations in other cities by the end of the year.
Poznan-headquartered Pepco, founded in 2004, operates over 3,000 stores in 19 European countries, including Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece and Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to its LinkedIn profile. The company has a workforce of nearly 30,000 people and has been active on the Bulgarian market since 2019.
