July 7 (SeeNews) - Online payments company Paysafe said that it has launched Paysafecash in Bulgaria, offering local customers a new way to pay with cash for online purchases.
Paysafe intends to leverage its existing distribution partnership for the Paysafecard prepaid cash solution with Bulgaria's EasyPay, which has a licensed network of over 300 payment points, Paysafe said in a statement on Monday.
"Leveraging our long-standing partnerships with EasyPay in Bulgaria enables us to offer Paysafecash to consumers throughout the country," Udo Mueller, CEO of Paysafecard, said.
"With strong growth expected in the Bulgarian eCommerce market we are excited to be part of the journey and enable consumers to participate in the world of eCommerce while at the same time meeting the needs of those that do not wish to disclose sensitive financial details on the internet," Mueller added.
