December 12 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas group NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as share indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
A total of 1,543 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 1.1 million dinars. NIS won 0.14% and closed at 701 dinars.
Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the blue-chip gainers' list on Tuesday, as it won 0.89% and closed at 1,468 dinars. A total of 205 company shares were traded, generating a turnover of 299,952 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, fell 0.09% to 743.78 points on Tuesday. On Monday, the index rose 0.36%.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, went up 0.39% on Tuesday and closed at 1,620.64 points, after decreasing 0.97% on Monday.
Agricultural chemicals producer Galenika Fitofarmacija [BEL:FITO] paced the blue-chip decliners on the Belgrade bourse on Tuesday, as it lost 2.29% to 2,736 dinars. A total of 90 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 246,275 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse increased to 7.3 million dinars ($71,814/61,027 euro) on Tuesday from 3.8 million dinars on Monday, as 325 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 563,484 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds generated 731.3 million dinars of the total turnover of 738.1 million dinars on the bourse.
