October 8 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
A total of 2,660 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 1.6 million dinars. The company's share price fell 0.67% to 597 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.07% at 800.82 points.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price grew 0.29% to 1,053 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.04% at 1,692.73.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 331.3 million dinars ($3.2 million/2.8 million euro) on Friday, up from 330.6 million dinars on Thursday, as 30 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 199,210 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 329.2 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Friday.
In the period between October 4 and 8, BELEX15 edged down 0.07%, while BELEXline grew 0.29%.
The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market this week was 990.7 million dinars, versus 367.1 million dinars last week.
Treasury bonds trading turnover totalled 970.8 million dinars this week, up from 337.5 million dinars last week.
