November 2 (SeeNews) - Serbia's Nis airport said it serviced 116,713 passengers in the first ten months of 2021, down 20.8% year-on-year.
The number of takeoffs and landings at Nis airport fell to 850 in the first ten months of 2021 from 926 in the like period of last year, whereas cargo volume grew to 308.5 tonnes from 404.1 tonnes, figures posted on the website of the Konstantin Veliki Airport in Nis show.
In October alone, the airport handled 18,277 passengers, while 10,586 passengers were serviced in October 2020. The number of takeoffs and landings totalled 226 in September 2021, up 47%. A total of 6.8 tonnes of cargo were processed in October 2021, versus 30.1 tonnes in the tenth month of last year.
Serbia's Nis airport serviced 154,233 passengers in 2020, down 63%.
